Ruban magique
Created as part of the course Packaging and eco-design, presented by Samuel Charlebois at the École de design de l’UQAM
The aim of this packaging design for blister tape was to create something completely recyclable and easy to use. The box’s shape keeps the tape in place and allows it to rotate, making the packaging an integral part of using the product, rather than simply a container. The opening allows for easy access, but also ensures that the user touches only one bandage at a time. The red gradient design references the look of a blister, indicating the product's function. A perforation shaped like a band-aid replicates the appearance of the product itself. Since the packaging is made entirely of a single piece cardboard and doesn’t require any adhesive, it is easy to recycle.
